Pigs Reproduction, Artificial Insemination (AI)

Absolutely NO contact with Pigs for at least two weeks prior to attending this course! Affidavit confirming required. Overalls and boots must be new.

Course Tuition: Theory & Practical sessions completed.

• Effective animal reproduction is the foundation for progressive and successful Pig farming.
• The technical skill of AI is covered and practised by covering the theoretical aspects
• Functional management together with accurate record keeping of AI programs is often where technicians fall short in realizing their reproduction potential and this is comprehensively covered during training.
• Infertility is seldom properly managed and most farmers are unaware of the factors contributing to infertility, during the course we cover the major factors affecting infertility.
